Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to book with us, including customers who use a screen reader, who need large text, or who cannot use a mouse or a fine touch gesture.

What we build to

The website and both apps are built to the WCAG 2.1 AA standard. Every button, image and form field is labelled so VoiceOver on iPhone and TalkBack on Android read it out properly. Colour is never the only thing carrying meaning, text and background colours are checked for contrast, and the whole thing works at large text sizes without anything cutting off. There is no flashing or moving content.

Keyboard and touch

Every part of the site can be reached and used with a keyboard alone, and the focus outline is always visible. Buttons are large enough to press with shaky hands.

Testing

We test with real screen readers on real phones, not only with automated checkers, and we keep a written report of what was tested and when.

Ring the salon on 732 419 3941 and tell us what happened and which phone you were using. We will book you in over the phone straight away, and we will fix the problem. We treat accessibility bugs as urgent.
